Living in a 15th and 18th century mansion is unique and rare.

The property has been renovated over the past four decades in several stages. In 1564, the mansion was built by notary André Tachet in place of the priest of Assomôtier. The latter also served as town hall for some time. In the middle of the 17th century, the house passed to the family of Lieutenant Jean-Luis Tissot.

In 1787, Pierre-Maurice Glayre (1788-1918) bought the house on his return from Poland by his aunt, Née Tissot. In 1809, Charles Antoine de Lerber married the only daughter Suzanne Louise of Pierre-Maurice Glayre. His son Maurice de Lerber (1866-1934), who played an important role in the region as an industrialist, ceded the property to Henri Jaccard de Lerber (1863-1935). The Jaccard family owned the property until 1968, when the grandfather of the current owner took possession of the desolate property and converted it into a multi-apartment house from 1975 to 1977, and was renovated including dual heat pump heating, which has lowered heating costs like a modern home which is a small miracle in itself.
