Chambave is an Italian commune in the Aosta Valley region, part of the unit of Valle d'Aosta municipalities of the Matterhorn.
The territory of the municipality extends as much on the left (adret) as on the right (reverse) orographic of the Baltic Doire, about 18 km east of Aosta and 7 km west of Saint -Vincent.

On the adret, the territory of Chambave extends up to 800 meters above sea level.
Most of the territory is occupied by vineyards producing some of the best Aosta wines.

Upside down, the territory extends up to 3,006 meters, the summit of Mont Avic. Up to 800/900 meters, the territory is characterized by pastures and chestnut forests, above which there are coniferous woods (especially larches and red pines).
The Chambave wine tradition, already cited in documents from the 14th century, today revolves around the cooperative society La Crotta di végétneron (from Chambosard dialect, La Cave des vignerons), with the most modern vinification technologies.

A fundamental stage of the Wine Route, the wine route of the Aosta Valley, since 2001 Chambave has been part of the Italian wine association Città del vino (meaning in French, City of Wine).

The Chambave vineyards extend to adret, and produce high quality wines, among the most renowned in the Aosta Valley, such as:

Muscat
Gamay
Pinot noir
Withered Muscat
