The journey itself promises an escape: from La Forclaz, a forest road winds through alpine landscapes before giving way to an alpine trail, accessible by 4x4 during the warmer months. When winter arrives, the site transforms into a secluded retreat, accessible by snowshoes, in an almost surreal silence.
The chalet charms with its unspoiled authenticity. Heated by two soapstone stoves, it offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. Water comes from a nearby natural spring, while electricity is provided by a solar panel system, ensuring environmentally friendly self-sufficiency.
On the upper level, a spectacular terrace opens onto a breathtaking panorama, facing the Ferpècle Glacier and the imposing silhouette of the Dent Blanche. Inside, a separate kitchen, a living room, and a dining room create a cozy living space, complemented by recently installed dry-toilet facilities.
Upstairs, a spacious attic area features a versatile dormitory that can be reconfigured into two bedrooms or a generous sleeping area, in the style of an alpine refuge.
The lower level houses a cellar as well as practical storage spaces. The building, sound and well-maintained, is ready to move into immediately. The Bréonna site, accessible in winter through snow-covered landscapes of rare beauty, is set within a spectacular alpine cirque. The hamlet, composed of several mayens, retains an authentic and unspoiled atmosphere.
