Situation
The commune of Grancy, of which the hamlet of Saint-Denis is a part, is in the district of Morges.
Grancy is crossed by an old Roman road, the Vy de l'Etraz connecting Orbe to Nyon by Cossonay and Aubonne. The commune is close to Senarclens to the east, Vullierens and Cottens to the south, Pampigny to the west and Chavannes-le-Veyron and La Chaux to the north. The territory is crossed by a small stream called Veyron into which the Lamponnex flows.
